la neige

Beautiful... for the first time this year, in the Winter that never really was, we're getting a delicate, frosty snowfall.

Ironically, this morning we made the same lemon-filled crepes that I was inspired to make after a snowfall we got last January (the last snow we had here), and low and behold, now it's back :) Worked better than a raindance!

You should share the recipe and call it "Crepes to Make it Snow".

A timely post, tomorrow I'm spending the day with a friend who just asked me if I could please pretty please take some of their lemons off their hands. Thank you for the inspiration! :)

Sounds like an excellent friend to me :) I still remember being in San Diego and picking oranges off of the "decorative" trees ;) They were so good though!

I planted some lemon seeds from one we picked at my brother's old place, but we'll have to see if they made it through the Winter... *fingers crossed*

They are! I'm thinking we really ought not to limit making them for snowy weather.

Next time I'd like to try savoury ones, maybe cheese & truffle!

Those look and sound scrumptious, even aside from their snow-bringing powers. (Also, snow envy. Our respective locales appear to have swapped their usual February weather patterns.)

It's going to be in the 70's later this week, so I'm not so sure about that ;) I'm pretty certain our light dusting last night was the one big hurrah of the season. As of now, we have a slight bit of frost lurking in the shadows, but the rest is all sunshine...

Au contraire! This was our only snow all Winter, and just a dusting at that. The photo above is from when we made the same crepes ~last~ Winter.
