Eight of these have managed to survive the day ~ it's a miracle!
Pumpkin spice muffins with almonds and dark chocolate candied ginger. They were "experimental", and the main purpose was keeping warm on a cold Winter day, but they came out perfectly, so I had to snap a picture :)
They really are!! It's times like this when I wish everyone could gather around and share them in person :)
All day I have been considering making pumpkin bread and then not actually baking. This has inspired me: tomorrow, there will be pumpkin bread.
Mmm, dark chocolate candied ginger.
Mmmm, May have to bake tomorrow, too. (It's that or try the blood orange/ginger marmalade I've been contemplating.)
Good grief, that marmalade sounds PERFECT. Just bought some blood oranges here today :)
I think we have a pumpkin connection. It's like the rainbow connection, only spookier and more delicious ;)

Thanks to the "experimental" aspect I don't have one, but am going to see about making another batch soon!

Mmm. I can almost smell the spices. There are two little baking pumpkins left in the pantry.. too sweet for soup.. I think I know what to make with them now. :)

NOM NOM NOM! I wasn't nearly as adventurous in the kitchen, but I did make garlic bread to go with my pesto tortolini.
These look fantastic!!! Oddly enough, I just helped a friend relieve a great deal of her lemon tree's burdens yesterday, and was thinking that making some lemon curd so I can recreate those fantastic crepes you posted some time ago would be just the thing!
