|04:39 pm - Thundersnow & The Bed Song|
Just now I heard the wind howling and looked outside to see a sudden, blustery snowfall. After a few moments of looking skywards (and taking the photo below), I saw a streak of lightning flash across the sky, followed by a crash of thunder. I’ve heard thundersnow before, but this was the first time I got to really ~see~ it too… Wonderful.
Also ~ Amanda Palmer’s ”The Bed Song” video directed by Michael McQuilken & filmed by Sarah Lasley has been released:
(“The Bed Song” dress (created on the spot out of bed sheets!) by Kambriel)
You can see my original post from when the video was first filmed, with loads of photos & some behind the scenes stories here:
Love with an open heart, and never be afraid to ask…
Thundersnow is impressive. Up this way, we're getting hushed, swirling snow.

The glorious thing is an hour or so later, it's still snowing. It's the first time I've gotten to see it in a year, and I love it so. Didn't even have to make the magical lemon crepes
to summon it this time! Though now I'm thinking they should be made as a general "thank you" offering... because I'm magnanimous like that. ;)
After all, you wouldn't want to offend the snow. ;)

It's simply not worth the risk. If I have to make & eat delicious lemon crepes in order to keep Mother Nature happy, I'll humbly assume the task.
*Next time we're together, we should make them too ~ because at any given moment ~somewhere~ the snow gods might need appeasing.
Truly, that is heroic of you. [grin]
Excellent point. Even at the peak of summer here, it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere.

As much as I love all your work (and I do), there's something so wonderfully special about this dress and the purpose and the circumstances. You are amazing.
